WHAT WE DO
Our business came into existence in October 2011. We manufacture premium hand poured and injected soft plastic baits and jigs for use in freshwater and saltwater. Each product is 100% hand made down the bayou in Dulac, Louisiana on the bank of our beautiful Bayou Grand Caillou, at the “end of the world”.
OUR COLORS
We showcase an array of colors on this website, often adding, but you are not stuck with just the color patterns you see here. We can make nearly any color, whether it is something we’ve done before, or a brand new idea you have for the next great thing, or a color match to an old bait you can not find anymore. OUR MATERIALS
We have used every type of raw material available. The raw materials we settled on and use in our plastic baits has been formulated to be durable enough for toothy critters, yet soft enough to provide the best action possible. You will find it to be stretchy, yet strong at the same time.
OUR METHOD
If you always stay teachable, you will learn many great things in this life- and most certainly this applies to fishing! We spend time testing and researching all aspects of fishing from the behaviors of fish to how colors look in all different water clarities and beyond. We spend more time fishing than many of our customers. …always tweaking colors, testing the baits themselves, monitoring the reaction of the fish in all water types- freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater. Learning. Learning. Learning. Everything that goes into our products is a direct result of all the above. You will see this in the plastic texture, the colors of the baits, the weight of the baits and how they move through the water, and most importantly- the fish catching action itself!
OUR CUSTOMERS
Our desire is to offer the best possible service to you, as family, period. Our customers range from first time anglers to seasoned veteran anglers. From professional anglers who literally fish for a living, to grandfathers simply trying to pass on their love of fishing to their grandchildren. We are here to serve y’all, and you are VERY important to us whether you order a pack of baits, or a truck load, everyone is at the front of the line. We don’t want you to order just one time. We want to get to know you for a lifetime, helping you catch fish, and sharing the special bond we have as anglers.
HOW IT STARTED
Through our faith in Him, the Lord started this business using a small passage in scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6. If you look close, you’ll find it in our logo. (Please feel free to contact us if you want the whole story, as we love to share what the Lord has done in our lives but we also know not all people share the same faith.)
THE HURRICANE
Remember that proverb above? Well, sometimes things happen that truly stop you in your tracks. On August 29, 2021, Hurricane Ida came onshore and devastated much of our local area in Southeast Louisiana, including our shop and store where we made the fishing lures. BUT- we are so very thankful to be able to say, through much perseverance, blood, sweat, and certainly tears, we were able to rebuild and reopen and continue serving y’all, our beloved customers, just 11 months later, on July 29, 2022.
